Wales study day FAQs
What is the study day?
The Wales study day is a learning day for secondary care healthcare professionals in and around Wales. It aims to provide updates and information from a range of professionals on the latest developments in bowel cancer. In addition the day allows networking between professionals to enable connections to be made. There are also updates from us as a charity and opportunities to work together.
Who can attend the study day?
The study day is aimed at any healthcare professional who provides treatment and care for people with colorectal cancer in or around the Wales area. The updates will be UK wide.

You can register for the study day by completing the registration form.
Why are you running the study day?
We are committed to supporting healthcare professionals to reduce the variation in treatment and care across the UK. We offer education opportunities so they can keep up to date on emerging evidence and best practice to drive down variation.
How much does the event cost?
The study day is free to attend.
It says the event is full, can I still attend?
If the event is fully booked, we recommend you join the waiting list on the Eventbrite page. If a space becomes available, you will be contacted and will have two working days to confirm your place before it is released. The best way to stay up to date with all event dates is to join the professionals network.
Will you be running more events?
To be kept up to date with new events and further educational opportunities join the professionals network.
Am I able to access the content from the study day if I am unable to attend?
The day is best enjoyed in person as parts of it are interactive. We will be sharing slides from the day with all those who attended. If you would like a copy email training@bowelcanceruk.org.uk
