Peer Support Line
Our Peer Support Line gives you the chance to talk to someone who understands what it's like to have bowel cancer, as well as to find out about other services that may be helpful.
Who can contact the Peer Support Line?
The service is for anyone who has had a diagnosis of bowel cancer.
What will happen after I request a call from a Peer Supporter?
We'll contact you to tell you more about the service and find a time which works for one of our Peer Supporters to call you.
Who are the Peer Supporters?
Our Peer Supporters are volunteers who have all had a diagnosis of bowel cancer themselves and who can share their experience with you. All of our volunteers have undergone a DBS check and have received training from Bowel Cancer UK.
Is the service confidential?
What you discuss with us is confidential to Bowel Cancer UK, unless something is disclosed that legally requires us to pass information on, such as risk of harm to you or someone else.
