Our five year strategy: 'On a Mission'
In July 2023 we launched our new five-year strategy, 'On a Mission'. This set out how we'll continue to work relentlessly towards our vision of a future where nobody dies from bowel cancer.
There are four goals that form the building blocks of our strategy:
- Goal one: Increase awareness and understanding of bowel cancer
- Goal two: Remove the barriers to people being diagnosed quickly and at the earliest possible stage
- Goal three: Get the right treatment and care to every patient
- Goal four: Support people to cope better with bowel cancer
Read our strategy in full to find out more about these four main goals and how we're going going to achieve them.
This strategy will run for five years from January 2023 to December 2028. Each year, we'll report on progress and review the strategy to ensure it's still fit for purpose in an ever-changing world.
We'll work with our partners and the bowel cancer community to deliver our ambitious targets. We hope you'll join us as we work towards a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer.
