School, college and university fundraising
Every child, teenager and young adult has the power to help us save lives.
We know there are children, teenagers, and young adults who have been affected by bowel cancer. Every year we see their passionate support for their grandparents, parents, uncles, aunts, siblings and friends as they raise funds for us.
Whether you’re a student or a teacher, organising a fundraiser at your school or university is an incredible way of raising awareness of the disease. The money you raise will help us to work towards a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer.
We’re on hand to support you to make your fundraiser a success, so let us know what you’ve got planned.

Be inspired by the Mastana Society
In 2024, the Mastana Society from the University of Cambridge raised £3065 from fundraising events and their end of year showcase.
"Mastana is an annual student-led charity show in Cambridge, serving for the past 28 years as a showcase for the best South Asian performers in region, including music, dance and a brilliant in-house theatre production! Combined with a three-course meal from local suppliers, the event is a yearly staple in the calendar of the South Asian community in Cambridge.
At the heart of the event is the focus on charity, with all proceeds passed on to partner charitable organisations. This year, Bowel Cancer UK was chosen as the UK charity partner for the show, with over £3,000 raised to support their fantastic plethora of work in raising awareness of bowel cancer, supporting affected patients and their families and funding cutting-edge research into early diagnosis and treatment. The team at Mastana 2024 are humbly grateful for the opportunity to support an incredibly worthy cause!"
