Position: Senior Evidence Officer – full time, permanent
Reporting to: Health Information Manager
Salary: £28,000 per annum pro rata (plus London weighting if applicable)
Location: Homebased across UK
Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
This role provides a fantastic opportunity for you to join a brilliant team working hard to provide the highest quality and award winning health information. You'll ensure the latest evidence, data and research findings underpin all of our activity and the information we produce for patients and their families, the public and health professionals.
Working closely with the External Affairs and Services teams, you'll keep an eye on the bowel cancer landscape, and be our expert in knowledge of the pathway, provision, research, gaps and opportunities and will use your expertise to support organisational priorities and inform our external communications.
You'll love health data and statistics, be able to communicate complicated science to a lay audience and your research and analytical skills will be second to none. In short – we're looking for a brilliant and passionate changemaker who wants to make a difference to the lives of people affected by bowel cancer.
