Position: Health Professional Education and Engagement Manager (FTE permanent)
Reporting to: Head of Services and Support
Salary: £35,000 per annum pro rata (plus London weighting if applicable)
Location: Homebased across UK

We're the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

We're looking for a brilliant Health Professional Education and Engagement Manager to lead our network development with primary care, and further developing our existing relationships in secondary care.

You'll lead on embedding our information and support services within NHS diagnostic, treatment and care pathways to deliver a greater impact for those affected by and at risk of bowel cancer. This will require understanding the needs of our health professional stakeholder networks and identifying ways in which we can better support and engage them. We already deliver events for the National Colorectal Cancer Nurse Network and we'll be expanding our education and engagement events for health professionals. You'll be supported in managing the education programme by our Services Events Officer. In time, the role will develop and expand its reach and we're really keen to innovate in this area.

If you fit our person specification, have a can-do attitude and are willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in to get a job done then this might be the role for you. In return you'll join our brilliant team, be able to work flexibly and finish each day knowing you have played a central role in supporting people affected by bowel cancer.
