Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

We currently have around 70 staff based in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we're in a privileged position to be able to grow our staff team to deliver our ambitious new strategy, which will be launching in the spring. There are huge challenges facing bowel cancer patients across the UK, and our community needs us now more than ever. We're building a strong and united team to bring us closer to a world where nobody dies of bowel cancer.

We're looking for a Head of HR with a breadth of experience to lead our HR operations. This is an exciting new role, with the opportunity to shape and develop a new HR strategy, which will be critical to support our growth plans and delivery of our ambitious new strategy. You'll need to be confident in providing strategic support and expert advice to the organisation, whilst also be willing to undertake routine day-to-day tasks.

If this sounds like you and you fit our person specification, you might be the person for us. In return you'll join our brilliant team and finish each day knowing you've played a central role in supporting people affected by bowel cancer.

This is a broad role so we don't expect you to meet every criteria. If you have some of the skills but are interested in the role, we'd love to hear from you. We're keen to support people to develop and grow into the role and will give you the support you need.
