Step up for 30
Throughout June it’s time to Step up for 30. It’s really simple, just get active each day and ask people to sponsor you.
In these uncertain times, exercise is a wonderful way to improve your mental and physical health. It’s known to boost your mood and energy levels and exercise can also provide routine and structure to your day.
There are lots of creative and easy ways you can get active throughout June without any equipment or leaving your home – for example follow a fitness video, have a walk around the garden or take part in PE with Joe Wicks.
As part of our Step up for 30 team you’ll receive expert tips on staying active from professional athletes, hear ways to maximise your fundraising, be invited to an online group to share your progress, and get lots of encouragement from us.
Whilst you’re getting fitter and feeling healthier, you’ll also be raising money for us, the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity.
Every 15 minutes someone is diagnosed with bowel cancer. That’s over 42,000 people every year. But with the money raised through events like Step up for 30, we can continue to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
