Virtual study day for colorectal cancer nurses
Thursday 8 July 2021
We're hosting the National Colorectal Cancer Nurses Network (NCCNN) virtual study day in September, featuring expert speakers and specialist sessions on a range of topics relating to bowel cancer.
The event will take place over Zoom between 3pm and 5pm on Wednesday 29 September, and all nurses working in the colorectal cancer field are welcome to join.
Genevieve Edwards, Chief Executive at Bowel Cancer UK, will give an update on the charity's activities over recent months, and three experts will speak about topics including innovations in bowel cancer treatment and psychological support.
The session will end with the seventh annual Gary Logue Awards, which recognise the work of exceptional colorectal cancer nurses.
The awards were set up in memory of Gary Logue, who worked as a nurse for the charity and passed away in 2014, in honour of the contribution he made during his career.
