Sign up to our annual education event for colorectal cancer nurses
Wednesday 20 July 2022
We're hosting the National Colorectal Cancer Nurses Network (NCCNN) Annual Education Event in September, featuring expert speakers and specialist sessions on a range of topics relating to bowel cancer. Sign up today.
The free event will take place over Zoom from 3-5pm on Wednesday 14 September. Colorectal clinical nurse specialists, endoscopists and specialist screening practitioners from across the UK are invited to join the network and attend.
Genevieve Edwards, Chief Executive at Bowel Cancer UK, will give an update on the charity's activities, and experts will speak about topics including the socioeconomic differences in patient experiences during COVID-19, as well as presenting research on improving the quality of life for people living with and beyond bowel cancer.
The session will end with the eighth annual Gary Logue Colorectal Cancer Nurse Awards, which recognise the work of exceptional colorectal cancer nurses.
The awards were set up in memory of Gary Logue, who worked as a nurse for the charity and passed away in 2014, in honour of the contribution he made during his career.
