Nominations are open for the Gary Logue Colorectal Cancer Nurse Awards
Monday 12 July 2021
We're inviting you to nominate an outstanding colorectal cancer nurse for the seventh annual Gary Logue Colorectal Cancer Nurse Awards in September.
The awards will be presented at the virtual National Colorectal Cancer Nurses Network (NCCNN) study day on 29 September 2021.
We're welcoming nominations from people who are cared for by, or working with, an exceptional colorectal cancer nurse. Two winners will each receive £300 towards their professional development.
The award was set up in memory of Gary Logue, who worked as a nurse for the charity and passed away in 2014, in honour of the contribution he made during his career.
Allison Sharpe, winner of the 2020 award, says: "I was honoured to receive this award and flattered that my team nominated me. Over the past 25 years the team has evolved to 10 dedicated nurse specialists who have transformed the care of colorectal patients and I am extremely proud to be part of the team."
Nominations close on Sunday 8 August 2021.
