Join BBC’s Will Millard on a night-time trek at Rhossili Bay
Join the BAFTA Cymru award winner and BBC presenter, Will Millard, to get sponsored to trek the glorious Rhossili Beach in South Wales, on Saturday 18 July. Your support will help stop people dying of bowel cancer by funding vital services and life saving research.
Experience breathtaking views as the sunrise illuminates the famous Worm's Head Peninsula and the Bristol Channel to the horizon. Walkers will reach the top of 'Rhossili Down' as the sun rises at 5am, awakening the official Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty for as far as the eye can see. Enjoy the dawn of a new day in the knowledge that the money raised will help us get closer to a future where nobody dies from bowel cancer.
BBC presenter of Hidden Wales and Hidden Wales II, Will Millard, says: “I’m delighted to join Bowel Cancer UK for their beautiful walk on Rhossili Bay – it’s one of my favourite places in Wales – and a first for me to see the bay glow at sunrise. Join me on this challenge, it promises to be an unforgettable experience whilst raising money for a great cause.”
Wales Fundraising Manager for Bowel Cancer UK, Michael Locke, says: “Join us and Will Millard on this special challenge and together we’ll experience stunning views at the top of Rhossili Down. Your support will help us to achieve a future where nobody dies from bowel cancer. Go on, what’s stopping you!”
