ITV newsreader attends Christmas carol concert for Bowel Cancer UK
Thursday 13 October 2016
Join Bowel Cancer UK, the UK’s leading bowel cancer research charity, for a festive carol concert at St Marylebone Church, London on Thursday 8 December at 6pm attended by the charity’s Patron and ITV newsreader Charlene White.
Bowel Cancer UK’s Christmas carol concert, led by City of London School for Girls and the prestigious Jo Padfield quartet, is an unmissable part of Christmas in London. The choirs will sing family favourite Christmas carols mingled with seasonal readings from our Patron ITV newsreader Charlene White and other special guests, followed by festive refreshments.
St Marylebone Church will proudly host a Christmas tree for guests to write special messages to loved ones on a beautiful Bowel Cancer UK ‘Star of Hope’ decoration.
More than 44 people die from bowel cancer every day in the UK, it’s the nation’s second biggest cancer killer. However it shouldn’t be. It’s treatable and curable, especially if diagnosed early.
Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer research charity but they need help to save lives. That’s why we’re urging Londoners to attend our Christmas carol concert and support the charity’s vital research and lifesaving work to stop bowel cancer.
Tickets cost £15 each, and are available here.
