Don't miss out on our Living Well With Bowel Cancer events in Manchester and Edinburgh
This year we’re delighted to be hosting two ‘Living well with bowel cancer’ events in Manchester and Edinburgh this June for people affected by bowel cancer.
Save the dates:
- Saturday 8 June 2019 at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester from 10am – 3.15pm
- Saturday 15 June 2019 at Surgeon’s Quarter, Edinburgh from 10am – 3.15pm
These free events will be a chance to share experiences with other people affected by the disease, as well as hear presentations about lifestyle changes during and after cancer treatment, psychological and emotional effects of a cancer diagnosis as well as strategies for dealing with stress and anxiety. They’ll also be an opportunity to take part in a stoma workshop, yoga and learn more about mindfulness.
Lauren Wiggins, Director of Services, says: “We welcome bowel cancer patients and their loved ones to join us for these fabulous events that will offer information, support and inspiration. It’s a lovely opportunity to meet others that have been affected by the disease.”
