Congratulations to the Gary Logue Colorectal Nurse Awards 2022 finalists

We are thrilled to announce the finalists of the prestigious eighth annual Gary Logue Colorectal Nurse Award. The award was set up in honour of Gary, a nurse who worked for our charity, who sadly passed away in 2014.
We asked health professionals and patients and their families to send us their stories of exceptional colleagues and colorectal cancer nurses; those who make a significant impact to those affected by bowel cancer, provide exceptional care, and show outstanding initiative.
The finalists for the award for a nurse nominated by their colleagues are:
- Vanessa Shearwood from Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
- Manju Khanna from Northwick Park Hospital, London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust
- Linda Sherwood from Western General Hospital, NHS Lothian
The finalists for the award for a nurse nominated by patients and their families are:
- Maria Salter from Musgrove Park Hospital, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust
- Chloe Pearce from Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
- Jackie Creedon-Wilkes from Spire Bushey Hospital
Dr Philippa Kaye, GP, author, and broadcaster will announce the winners at the National Colorectal Cancer Nurses Network (NCCNN) Annual Education Event on Wednesday 14 September 2022.
