We’re building a strong and united team to bring us closer to a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer.

Job summary

This role is crucial for the development and progress of our volunteering programmes. We're currently at an exciting time in the organisation as we have just gone through a huge amount of growth and we're looking to consolidate our plans and reach as many people affected by bowel cancer as we can.

In order to do this, we are reliant on the recruitment, retention and development of volunteers to support our vision. We know that volunteers are key for our activities, whether that be within services, fundraising, campaigning or research and this role will be instrumental in supporting the growth and ambitious plans we have within the volunteering team.

This role will work across directorates to promote volunteering best practice and ensure volunteering roles are properly planned for and supported. This role will also be responsible for leading on volunteer recruitment across the UK and providing engagement activities for our current pools of active volunteers.
