Senior Press Officer

Bowel Cancer UK, the UK’s leading bowel cancer research charity, is looking to recruit a Senior Press Officer responsible for taking the lead on media relations and PR, celebrity and patron management and gathering and supporting case studies.

Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in the UK. However it shouldn’t be because it is treatable and curable especially if diagnosed early. We are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life for all those affected by bowel cancer. We support and enable research, educate patients, public and professionals about bowel cancer and campaign for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all those affected.

The Senior Press Officer is an important role within the busy Marketing and Communications team and will be responsible for identifying media opportunities, developing creative ideas for news stories and features and taking a proactive approach to our media relations to raise the profile of Bowel Cancer UK and raise awareness of bowel cancer.
