Salary: £33,100
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: Remote (or London hybrid) – home based with significant travel (across UK) and frequent overnight stays
We're the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. We currently have around 90 staff based in England, Wales Scotland and Northern Ireland.

We’re building a strong and united team to bring us closer to a world where nobody dies of bowel cancer.
We’re looking for a Senior Community Engagement Officer, to engage key partners and community leaders around the UK, to ensure our services are accessible to communities and to raise awareness of bowel cancer.
You’ll develop strong, lasting relationships with different communities in specific locations across the UK and build trust in Bowel Cancer UK as a charity supporting everyone affected by or at risk of bowel cancer. You’ll work closely with our staff on the ground around the UK and our service delivery teams, promoting the support we offer as well as feeding back insights from different communities around the accessibility and appropriateness of our services. This role requires resilience, the ability to work as part of a team and independently and involves significant travel around the UK.
