We're the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
Bowel cancer diagnosis and treatment has been incredibly hard hit by COVID-19, and people affected by the disease need us now more than ever. It's vital that we focus on the recovery and transformation of bowel cancer services across the four nations of the UK to make our vision a reality, of a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer.
As our Public Affairs Officer, you'll provide public affairs support across the four nations of the UK as part our policy-led influencing strategies. You'll be responsible, with the support of the Policy and Campaigns team, for the development, coordination and implementation of all our public affairs activity to achieve lasting change for people affected by bowel cancer. You'll influence the ever-changing health policy and legislation landscape, and create a network of Bowel Cancer Champions in parliaments across all four nations of the UK.
