Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

We currently have around 70 staff based in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. There are huge challenges facing bowel cancer patients across the UK, and our community needs us now more than ever. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, we’re growing our staff team as part of an ambitious new strategy which will bring us closer to a world where no one dies of bowel cancer.

We’re looking for a motivated Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer to join our collaborative and dynamic Partnerships and Philanthropy fundraising team. The team is made up of seven fundraisers focusing on securing high-value gifts with big impact, both from companies and from trusts and foundations.

As Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer you will proactively secure income from trusts and manage relationships with some of our existing corporate supporters to help maximise income. You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and experience of relationship building. Our perfect candidate will ideally have previous experience in fundraising and relationship management, however candidates with other relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

You’ll be instrumental in helping our team to reach our ambitious fundraising targets and ultimately improving the lives of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
