Position: Health Information Officer
Reporting to: Health Information Manager
Salary: £26,000 per year pro rata (London weighting available if appropriate)
Location: UK wide and home based with occasional travel and overnight stays
Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
This role is an excellent development opportunity for a proactive person with strong administrative and prioritisation skills who is looking to develop their career in health information. You'll produce clear, engaging and evidence-based health information for the public and people affected by bowel cancer.
You'll love health research and be able to communicate complicated science and medical treatments to a lay audience. With a passion to engage with and reach a wider audience, you'll help ensure everyone affected by bowel cancer has access to high quality health information that’s relevant to them.
