Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

We are looking for a data processing assistant who is organised, accurate and has amazing attention to detail. You will be confident in using Microsoft Excel and databases (ideally Raiser’s Edge) and be able to quickly adapt to using new processes and systems. You will also be a great communicator, able to work with colleagues across the organisation.

This is an exciting new role, which will support the delivery of a comprehensive project to update our data systems and processes. This role will ensure we have high quality, reliable data to support delivery and measure impact across the organisation.

You will be responsible for all non-financial data processing and maintenance. This will involve importing data from across the breadth of the organisation including our fundraisers, donors, volunteers, campaigners, and service users. You will also implement processes to ensure accuracy of data and support colleagues with data selections and reports.

If you fit our person specification and have the skills we’re looking for, then we’d love to hear from you. This role is an excellent opportunity for developing your skills. We will invest in the right person and are looking for someone who can have a genuine impact on the quality of our data and the service we provide to colleagues across the charity.
