2027 Double TCS London Marathon: 24 April - 25 April 2027

The TCS London Marathon is going even bigger in 2027 with a special one-off two-day format, taking place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 April. The unique Double event will welcome 100,000 participants across the weekend, all taking on the iconic route from Greenwich to Westminster in a spectacular celebration of sport, charity and community.

  • Distance: 26.2 miles

Charity places 

We only have charity places available in the Sunday event. If you’d like to apply to join our team, you’ll need to complete our application form. 

  • Date: Sunday 25 April 2027
  • Registration fee: £100 (only payable if you're successful in securing a spot on our team)
  • Minimum sponsorship target: £2,500

We’d encourage you to include as much information as you can around your reason for running and your planned fundraising activities to reach our minimum sponsorship target. We’ll be touch by email by the end of July 2026 to let you know the outcome of your application with us.

Whether you've got a deferred ballot place or are successful in this year's ballot, we'd love to welcome you to our 2027 team! There's no set fundraising target — we just ask that you raise as much as you can to help us stop people dying from bowel cancer.

  • We'll send you one of our colourful running tops to help you stand out from the crowd
  • Support every step of the way, including exclusive access to our virtual running club training programme, dedicated Facebook and WhatsApp groups to connect with other #TeamBowelCancerUK runners and invitations to our training sessions
  • Fundraising support from our events team
  • Support from our noisy cheer squads around the course
  • Invite to our event weekend post-race party on Sunday 25 April 2027. A chance to celebrate your achievement and be treated like the true VIP you are!
