Nominations are open for the Gary Logue Colorectal Nurse Awards
Monday 9 July 2018
We are inviting you to nominate an outstanding colorectal cancer nurse for the fourth annual Gary Logue Colorectal Nurse Awards in September.
The awards will be presented at the National Colorectal Cancer Nurses Network (NCCNN) Study Day on 17 September at Chandos House in London.
We are welcoming nominations from those cared for by, or working with, an exceptional colorectal cancer nurse. The two winners will each receive £400 towards their professional development.
The award was set up in memory of Gary Logue, who worked as a nurse for Beating Bowel Cancer and passed away in 2014, in honour of the contribution he made during his career.
Gail Curry, Head of Health Promotion and Training at Bowel Cancer UK and Beating Bowel Cancer, says: “These awards are a great opportunity to show our appreciation for the nurses who make such a huge difference to the lives of bowel cancer patients and recognise all the incredible work they do.”
Nominations close Tuesday 31 July.
