Join us for an evening with British adventurer Kiko Matthews
Join us for an evening with British adventurer, Kiko Matthews, on Thursday 7 November at Ulster University, Belfast, from 6.30pm.
Organised by leading solicitors Edwards & Co and hosted by sports journalist and presenter Nicola McCarthy, the 'Live with Purpose' evening promises to inspire guests with world record holder and motivational speaker Kiko Matthews. Listen to her talk about the benefits of challenge, the power of collaboration and community, and developing resilience.
Last year Kiko Matthews became the fastest female to row solo across the Atlantic despite some life threatening set-backs before setting out on the 3,000 mile unsupported trans-Atlantic row. She is now a campaigner for the environment and promotes positive mental health through adversity with her life moto 'Living and Giving'.
All money raised from the event will go towards our work to help stop people dying of bowel cancer by funding vital services and lifesaving research.
Niamh McDaid, Senior Services Officer in Northern Ireland for Bowel Cancer UK, says: "We're thrilled to host this very special evening with Kiko Matthews, with thanks to Edwards & Co and Ulster University for their generous sponsorship. Kiko is a tour de force, her passion for challenging herself and making positive change in communities is infectious and inspirational. Please do join us for this memorable evening, your support will help us ensure a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer."
