Great news! We’re now members of the Association of Medical Research Charities
We’re delighted to announce that we have been accepted as a member of the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) – a hallmark of quality research funding.
The AMRC is a national membership organisation of over 140 leading medical and health research charities. They help their members by interpreting and influencing the regulatory, policy and research environments; bringing members together to encourage collaboration and shared learning. Universities, charities, government and funding bodies all use AMRC membership as an indicator of research funding quality.
Dr Lisa Wilde, Director of Research and External Affairs at Bowel Cancer UK and Beating Bowel Cancer, says: “We’re thrilled to be members of the prestigious AMRC and to be part of a strong collective voice for medical research charities in the UK. This membership demonstrates our commitment to following best practise in our research funding processes, ensuring that we are funding high quality research that has the greatest potential to benefit people affected by bowel cancer. This will bring us closer to achieving our long term goal that, by 2050, no one dies of bowel cancer.”
