Free colorectal cancer study day for healthcare professionals

We are organising a free study day on genetics in colorectal cancer for healthcare professionals on Friday 24 November 2017 at The Liner Hotel, Liverpool. This is the first colorectal cancer study day the charity has organised in the North West.

Chaired by Professor Sir John Burn, Professor of Clinical Genetics at Newcastle University, the free study day is an essential update on the diagnosis, treatment and management of hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes. It’s aimed at practitioners who provide treatment and care for people with colorectal cancer in primary and second care settings.

Gail Curry, our Head of Health Promotion & Training, said: “Our study days have gained an excellent reputation among healthcare professionals. Featuring a programme of expert speakers, the day aims to provide attendees with an update on key genetic conditions relevant to colorectal cancer and provide information on testing and treating people with an increased risk.”
