Senior Digital Communications Officer

Bowel Cancer UK, the UK’s leading bowel cancer research charity, is looking to recruit a Senior Digital Communications Officer responsible for taking the lead on digital marketing and communications including the website, social media and email marketing.
Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in the UK. However it shouldn’t be because it is treatable and curable especially if diagnosed early. We are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life for all those affected by bowel cancer. 
We support and enable research, educate patients, public and professionals about bowel cancer and campaign for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all those affected.
Digital communications play an essential role in helping us to increase our reach, raise the profile of the organisation and build our network of influencers and advocates. 
The Senior Digital Communications role is an important role within the busy Marketing and Communications team and will be responsible for managing and developing our website, social media channels and our email marketing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on those channels and developing and delivering high quality and engaging content and assets.
