We're always looking for enthusiastic people to support our work by joining our wonderful team of volunteers. 

We have a range of opportunities for you to get involved with. With a variety of roles supporting our awareness work and our fundraising, there is something for everyone.

Why volunteer with us?

By becoming a volunteer, you'll be helping towards our goal of building a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer. You'll receive regular updates in our volunteer newsletter, ongoing support from our volunteering team as well as the opportunity to:

  • make a direct difference to people affected by bowel cancer and share your own experiences
  • connect with other volunteers at events and our virtual and inperson meet ups throughout the year
  • build your confidence and personal development through our e-learning modules

What our volunteers say

In 2024, we had 101 volunteers help us across 191 different volunteering roles, with an additional 22 people joining us for one off volunteering roles. Here's what they had to say about volunteering with us:

"Being a volunteer is therapy for me, and I can’t thank the charity enough for all the opportunities and support they have given me. I may not be able to change the world but if I can change the world for just one person then that is all I wish for."
