How we'll support you
Our events team will support you all the way, from your initial welcome pack through to congratulating you on your achievement. We'll send you a t-shirt to wear on the challenge along with regular training and fundraising updates to make sure you have the best experience.

"It was summer 2017 when I was diagnosed with bowel cancer, devastating news. I was 43 with 4 boys ranging from 19 to 6 years old. The colorectal team were amazing and incredibly supportive. After an operation to remove the tumour during a routine scan 12 months later, I was given the news I had a metastatic tumour on my lung. So autumn last year I underwent another operation to have that removed. During my recovery I decided I wanted to give something back and raise awareness about bowel cancer. In September 2019 I took part in The Great Wall of China to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK."
