Great North Run: 7 September 2025

The Great North Run is the world's largest half marathon with an incredible atmosphere, starting in Newcastle upon Tyne and finishing by the sea in South Shields. It's an amazing event for all, whether you're after a personal best or just wanting to be a part of something special.

Registrations in this year’s event have now closed. Charity place registrations in Great North Run 2026 will open on our website on Sunday 7 September 2025.
