Phoenix Car Company supporting us this November
We’re delighted that Phoenix Car Company, based in Paisley, is supporting us during November. For every used car sold from 16 – 30 November, the Phoenix team will make a donation to our ‘Improving Surgery, Saving Lives’ appeal.
Through this appeal, we’ll invest £430,000 into a long-term research initiative based in Scotland, focused on improving surgery which will generate vital research in order to stop people dying of bowel cancer. The disease is the country’s second biggest cancer killer however it shouldn’t be because it’s treatable and curable, especially if diagnosed early.
John McGuire, CEO of Phoenix said: "Phoenix Car Company are proudly supporting Bowel Cancer UK’s appeal ‘Improving Surgery, Saving Lives’ this November. It’s a topic close to many hearts within the company and we’re delighted that our Sales Team have come together to make donations this month to such an important charity. We’ve been celebrating our Silver Anniversary this year and for the last 25 years our amazing customer base has always helped support our charity partnerships. Our philosophy of ‘work hard, play hard, give something back’ is shared by our team and our customers alike so this is a great way to kick off our Phoenix Season of Giving while raising awareness of such an important appeal."
