Our chief executive shortlisted for prestigious award

We’re thrilled that our chief executive Deborah Alsina MBE is shortlisted as a finalist for Charity Chief Executive of the Year in the Third Sector Excellence Awards 2017.

This award is given to a charity’s chief executive who the judges believe has consistently delivered excellence, dedication, innovation and commitment to the charity and the sector.

Deborah Alsina MBE, Chief Executive of Bowel Cancer UK, said: “I am very humbled to have not only been put forward by my colleagues for this award, but to be shortlisted too. This recognition celebrates the huge amount of work that Bowel Cancer UK does to save lives and improve the quality of life for all those affected by bowel cancer.”

Now in its 13th year, the Third Sector Excellence Awards recognise those who give back to the community and celebrate organisations and social leaders from across the sector. This year’s winners will be announced on 21 September.
