Nexus Business Space announce us as charity partner
We’re delighted to be announced as Nexus charity of the year partner.
Staff are planning a range of fundraising activities to support our ongoing work in Scotland to save lives and improve the quality of life of people affected by bowel cancer. Information about the disease will also be available for residents in their four business centres to help raise much needed awareness.
Angus Forsyth, Founder of Nexus, said: “We were so pleased when Bowel Cancer UK moved into our Edinburgh centre earlier this year, and we are very happy to count this deserving charity among the growing list of charitable organisations that we now host in Edinburgh and Glasgow. On a personal level I cannot think of a more deserving beneficiary of our fundraising activities in 2020, and I will be encouraging all of our staff, our 300 or so residents, as well as our suppliers and friends to join us in our fundraising activities which will be announced shortly. A sturdy pair of walking boots and a thermos will be required!”

Emma McGeever, Scotland Fundraising Manager at Bowel Cancer UK, said: “We are thrilled to be chosen as Nexus charity of the year and are really looking forward to working with them. Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in Scotland but if diagnosed early, it can be treatable and curable. With the support of companies like Nexus together we can help stop people dying from this dreadful disease.”
