Beating bowel cancer together

Join us to remember someone special

Wednesday 10 March 2021

Join us for Remember Together on Sunday 11 April, a special event to celebrate the lives of people we have lost to bowel cancer.

Hosted by television presenter and patron Pamela Ballantine, Remember Together will include an update on our work and how your support is making a difference from our Chief Executive, Genevieve Edwards. It will also feature a poem read by patron Baroness Floella Benjamin, who lost her own mother to bowel cancer, as well as reflections from others affected by the disease. Chloe Evans, whose dad sadly died of bowel cancer when she was 15, will perform a dance. We will then invite you to light your Star of Hope candle in memory of your loved one.

Luke Squires, Director of Fundraising at Bowel Cancer UK, says: "We are holding this special event during Bowel Cancer Awareness Month to create a space for people to come together and remember loved ones who have sadly died of bowel cancer. It would be wonderful if you could join us."

Remember Together will start at 5pm on Zoom – register here

Tickets start at £5 to join us on the day. If you'd like to receive one of our special Star of Hope candles to light with us on the day, tickets are £10.
