Join us and Walk Together this June to help stop people dying from bowel cancer
Thursday 21 April 2022
Registrations are now open for our annual Walk Together fundraiser this June.
Complete a five mile walk on Saturday 11 June, or another day in June that suits you, and ask friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you. All we ask is that you raise a minimum of £100, which will go towards our vital services and lifesaving research.
Research shows that exercise, like walking, is a great way to improve your physical health and mental wellbeing. Walking can boost your mood, increase your energy levels and help reduce stress.
Every 15 minutes someone is diagnosed with bowel cancer in the UK – that's nearly 43,000 people every year. We're entirely reliant on the generous support of people like you. Your fundraising will help us save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
Luke Squires, Director of Fundraising at Bowel Cancer UK, says: "Whether you're a seasoned countryside hiker or casual urban city walker, put on your walking shoes and get sponsored to walk five miles. Everyone taking part will be walking together across the UK to raise money to help our vital services and lifesaving research."
Lace up, get outside and walk five miles this June to help stop people dying from bowel cancer.
