Previous event: Newport patient support morning

In November 2025, we held a morning of support, connection and community with a patient support event in Newport. 

We invited everyone affected by bowel cancer to come along for a relaxed morning in the hear of Newport City Centre for a chance to connect with others who understand, find support and take in the beautiful River Usk views. 

At the event, attendees heard from two guest speakers, who explored topics like: 

  • the psychology of a cancer diagnosis
  • how to manage fatigue
  • the third-party support available to help you on your journey

We were also joined by other charities and organisations that offer support to people affected by bowel cancer.
