Fundamentals of colorectal nursing MSc module Application Process

This bursary form is designed to assess applicants on an individual basis. We’re unable to cover any additional expenses, such as travel, at this time.

How to apply:

When submitting this application form you’ll be considered for a place on the course and a bursary to cover the associated fees. Applicants for bursary funded places must have a specialist interest in colorectal disease.

If you do not hear from us by Friday 28 July 2023 please assume on this occasion that your application has been unsuccessful.

This application form is intended for all applicants who are not employed by Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. If you are an employee of Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust you must apply to study the Fundamentals of colorectal Nursing MSc module via the Trust's internal application system.

Only applicants who have studied successfully at level six will be considered as this course is run at level seven only. Please provide details of level six study below. Please be aware you may be asked to provide evidence.

We'll only consider applications that have a clear focus on service or care improvements for bowel cancer patients. Please ensure your answer is specific, detailed and includes examples, providing information on how the bursary will directly, and indirectly, improve the care received by those affected by bowel cancer. Your statement should be approximately 250 words.

To be considered for a bursary you must have the support of your line manager to attend all study days and you'll also be required to identify a mentor from your own Trust (details of the requirements can be found in the course handbook). 100% attendance is required unless extenuating circumstances are proven.
