Are we overtreating early colorectal cancer?
- What is it:This session will be led by Doug Speake, Consultant Colorectal Surgeon, NHS Lothian and Linda Sherwood, Team Lead, Colorectal Cancer Nursing Service, NHS Lothian. It will cover the current management and follow up of early colorectal cancer as well as the complexity in decision making for patients and the patient experience in polyp cancer management.

Supporting primary care to deliver earlier diagnosis for suspected bowel cancer patients
- What is it: Join our virtual education event to learn more about colorectal cancer, its risk factors and red flag symptoms. The session will cover the use of FIT in symptomatic patients within primary care, and the bowel cancer screening programme as a route to diagnosis
- When is it: Thursday 19 June 2025 at 6.30 - 7.30pm
