Position: Services Assistant
Reporting to: Head of Services
Salary: £23,400 plus London weighting if applicable
Location: London/hybrid or home based
Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
We currently have around 70 staff based in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we're in a privileged position to be able to grow our staff team to deliver our ambitious new strategy, which we'll be launching in the spring. There are huge challenges facing bowel cancer patients across the UK, and our community needs us now more than ever. We're building a strong and united team to bring us closer to a world where nobody dies of bowel cancer.
We're looking for a proactive, enthusiastic administrator to provide exceptional levels of administrative support, across our services. If you want to use your excellent administration skills to help an amazing team to deliver support to people affected by bowel cancer, we want to hear from you!
You'll have experience of using a database, Survey Monkey and all Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook, with the ability to use your initiative, prioritise and demonstrate a problem-solving approach. You'll be confident supporting with project co-ordination and contributing to event planning and marketing. You'll also be responsible for collecting and analysing monitoring and evaluation data and reporting findings in a professional way.
