We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
We currently have around 90 staff based in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we’re in a privileged position to be able to grow our staff team to deliver our ambitious new strategy, On a Mission. There are huge challenges facing bowel cancer patients across the UK and our community needs us now more than ever. We’re building a strong and united team to bring us closer to a world where nobody dies of bowel cancer.
We're looking for a talented and experienced Head of Data and IT to take on this strategically important position. This is an exciting new role, with the opportunity to shape our future infrastructure environment, setting the charity up for long-term success. You’ll develop new strategies and implement a transformational programme of activity.
You’ll be a strong team player who enjoys working with, and influencing, colleagues across the organisation. You’ll be able to build a strategic view of our data and IT requirements, risks and opportunities and communicate this to key stakeholders, up to Board level. You’ll also be able to develop the teams, systems, and processes to provide the infrastructure required for us to continue to thrive and deliver on our ambitious new organisational strategy.
If this sounds like you and you fit our person specification, you might be the person for us. In return you'll join our brilliant team and finish each day knowing you’ve played a central role in supporting people affected by bowel cancer.
