We're the UK's leading bowel cancer charity

Our awareness roadshows

Throughout 2024, 2025 and into 2026 we ran a programme of awareness raising roadshows across the country.

We spoke to over 15,000 people in 27 different locations. We listened to personal stories, signposted support and information and made connections that have truly made a difference. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported this programme and helped us raise such vital awareness in the areas that needed us the most.

Our awareness roadshow programme was made possible by funding from the Bowelbabe Fund for Cancer Research UK as part of the incredible legacy of Bowel Cancer UK ambassador, Dame Deborah James.

Early diagnosis saves lives, so our work to raise awareness isn't stopping. We're building on the success of the roadshows with our Early Diagnosis Programme, find out more about this pinoeering work below.
