Bowel Cancer UK welcomes 80 in 20 event by Sullivan Upper School, Belfast
Thursday, May 31, 2012
Bowel Cancer UK is delighted to announce that this Saturday,
2nd June a group of teachers and friends from Sullivan
Upper School in Belfast will aim to walk 80 kilometres in just 20
hours.
It's hoped the event will raise over £5000 for a range of
charities including Bowel Cancer UK. The walk will
commemorate the late Rosi Kirker-Miller who was dedicated to
raising awareness of and funding for bowel cancer. Both of Rosi's
sons attend Sullivan Upper School.
Beginning at sunrise, the group will set out at Orlock Point and
walk the north Down Coastal Path to Holywood. Then, taking in the
Stormont Estate to Dundonald and the Comber Greenway to the Odyssey
to Shaws Bridge from where they will return via the same route.
We wish all those taking part the very best of luck. You can
