These rules (“the rules”) apply to ActiveApril competition (the “Competition”), and by taking part in the competition you are agreeing to comply with them, and confirm you satisfy the terms and conditions below.

ActiveApril is organised by Bowel Cancer UK (Registered charity number 1071038 (England & Wales) and SC040914 (Scotland).

This prize draw is administered solely by Bowel Cancer UK and is not affiliated with Decathlon in any way.

Prize

The prize purchased by Bowel Cancer UK consists of the following item only: 

1. 1x £100 Decathlon voucher

Participant entry

• Participants aged under 16 years old must have permission from an adult to take part. 

Competition rules  

• Only entrants who are fully registered for ActiveApril 2026 are eligible to take part in the competition. 
• Every donation made via the official JustGiving or Facebook fundraising page during the campaign period will count as one entry into the prize draw.
• Multiple donations will result in multiple entries.
• Competition closes for entry at 12:30pm on Thursday 30 April. Any donations made after this date and time specified will not be taken into consideration and will not be eligible for this competition. 
• Fundraising donations should not be transferred between participants; please contact us should you need to withdraw from the ActiveApril  Please contact the team who will be happy to assist you on 020 7940 1769 or at [email protected].
• Donations on Team fundraising pages are eligible for entry, but only one winning prize asstated above will be available, no matter the number of participants in the team. 
• All donations will be assigned a number at random and the winner will be drawn using a random number generator on Tuesday 5 May 2026.
• The winner will be announced on the ActiveApril 2026 Facebook group.
• The winner will be notified by email and phone call by the Bowel Cancer UK team, on Wednesday 6 May 2026.
• Should the winner not accept the prize by Friday 8 May 2026, then the prize will be reallocated to the competition, and a new winner will be drawn at random. The stated rules will apply to the new draw. 
• Should the winner be an employee of Bowel Cancer UK who is taking part in ActiveApril, the prize will be reallocated and a new winner will be drawn at random. 
• The prize cannot be exchanged for another item or exchanged for cash.
• The prize will be issued via email directly to the winner no later than a month after the winner confirms their email address.

Advertising of stated competition  

• All ActiveApril 2026 participants will receive details of the competition, including the rules and how to take part, upon registering for the event to the email address supplied upon sign up.
• All advertising will abide by the rules indicating clear ways to take part and clear links to terms and conditions.
