Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
We're looking for a strategically minded Senior Social Media Officer to bring creative energy to our team. You'll be proactive, a decision maker and willing to try new digital techniques to grow our organic reach.
Ideally a digital all-rounder you'll have experience of planning and leading on social media campaigns, be reactive and able to change course dependent on results, as well as provide comprehensive analysis and recommendations to the wider organisation. You'll be empathetic and be able to engage with our community online. You'll also have a constant eye on digital innovation and be able to highlight new and exciting ways to engage with our audiences.
It's a busy, hands-on role, perfect for anyone looking to grow their digital and social media experience and make a real impact from day one. If this sounds like the role for you and you fit our person specification, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking to increase diversity in our team and welcome applications from people who feel they may only have some of the skills outlined but would be willing to learn the other elements of the role fast. What's important is not the education or opportunities you've had but your willingness to seize the prospects ahead of you. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of people affected by bowel cancer.
