Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
We currently have around 70 staff based in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we're in a privileged position to be able to grow our staff team to deliver our ambitious new strategy, which we'll be launching in the spring. There are huge challenges facing bowel cancer patients across the UK, and our community needs us now more than ever. We're building a strong and united team to bring us closer to a world where nobody dies of bowel cancer.
This role provides a fantastic opportunity for you to join a brilliant team working hard to provide the highest quality and award-winning health information. You'll be responsible for producing and maintaining our health information, ensuring it meets high standards, including being evidence based, clinically accurate and meeting the needs of patients and their families, the public and healthcare professionals.
You'll love health data and research and be able to communicate complicated science and medical treatments to a lay audience. You'll manage multiple projects independently, and work with a range of stakeholders across the bowel cancer pathway. With a passion to engage with and reach a wider audience, you'll help ensure everyone affected by bowel cancer has access to high quality health information that is relevant to them.
