Position: Senior Digital Engagement Officer – Services
Reporting to: Senior Digital Engagement Manager
Salary: £31,500 per annum plus London weighting if applicable
Location: Flexible – London office, hybrid or home based with travel to London office at least once a month

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

We currently have around 70 staff based in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we're in a privileged position to be able to grow our staff team to deliver our ambitious new strategy. There are huge challenges facing bowel cancer patients across the UK, and our community needs us now more than ever. We're building a strong and united team to bring us closer to a world where nobody dies of bowel cancer.

We provide a range of services for patients, professionals and the public. From targeted awareness raising activities to trusted patient information, and from our support forum to high quality professional education and engagement, we’re here to support everyone affected by bowel cancer.

The Digital Engagement Officer for Services is a key member of the Marketing and Communications team, responsible for promoting the patient and professional service offer. You'll make sure patients and their families, healthcare professionals and the wider public know more about the amazing support we offer. You'll be a marketing all-rounder with specific expertise in digital channels, and you'll become the key point of contact between our Services team and the Marketing and Communications Team. As well as your knowledge of communications and digital marketing, you're a skilled team player. You're great at building relationships and you collaborate effectively to achieve shared goals.
