Position: Philanthropy Officer
Reporting to: Philanthropy Manager
Salary: £27,150 per annum (including London weighting)
Location: London hybrid. Flexible location with the need to travel into our London office once a week
We’re looking for a Philanthropy Officer to join our collaborative and committed Partnerships and Philanthropy team. You’ll raise money from trusts and foundations, by writing bids and building strong relationships, helping to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
Right now, public awareness of bowel cancer is growing rapidly, making it an exciting time to join us. If you’re interested in playing a part in helping us reach even more people, and motivated to improve the lives of bowel cancer patients, we want to hear from you.
If you’re proactive and enthusiastic, with excellent writing and relationship building skills this could be the job for you. This role is suitable for anyone with trust fundraising experience who’s committed to the aims of Bowel Cancer UK and wants to take the next step in their trust fundraising career. As Philanthropy Officer you’ll be responsible for managing a mix of small warm and new relationships, ensuring we meet our income target and continue to be there for everyone affected by bowel cancer.
