Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
We currently have around 70 staff based in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we're in a privileged position to be able to grow our staff team to deliver our ambitious new strategy, which we'll be launching in the spring. There are huge challenges facing bowel cancer patients across the UK, and our community needs us now more than ever. We're building a strong and united team to bring us closer to a world where nobody dies of bowel cancer.
We're at the start of some exciting partnerships and new opportunities are opening up which will enable us to deliver a range of high impact activities focusing on awareness and earlier diagnosis of bowel cancer. To succeed, we need a brilliant Campaign Strategy Lead to drive forward and deliver our Early Diagnosis campaign, integrating major corporate partnerships, Bowel Cancer Awareness Month activity, NHS cancer screening campaigns, our own brand campaigns and our targeted awareness programme. You'll be an incredible communicator, collaborator, project manager and influencer with a proven track record leading successful awareness raising and behaviour change campaigns in the charity sector. You'll have vision, the ability to take a long term view and matrix manage teams, along with a creative and solution focused approach and highly developed strategic thinking skills.
This is a pivotal, new role within the charity and will maximise our impact and help us support more people living with and beyond bowel cancer to survive and thrive.
