Decembeard

This event is currently closed for registrations, but thank you so much for all your support during December 2025.

Say goodbye to morning-fresh shaves and hello to full-on facial hair. Grow a beard this December or decorate the one you have and help save lives.

This December, we're asking you to ditch the razor and grow or style your beard to support everyone affected by bowel cancer.

Event details

  • Date: Monday 1 December - Friday 31 December 2025
  • Price: No registration fee
  • Who can take part? Individuals, teams, businesses, anyone who wants to grow a beard!

 

Our vision is a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer but we can't achieve this alone. The money raised during Decembeard will help stop people dying of bowel cancer by funding our vital services and lifesaving research.

Trevor's story 

"I had an operation to remove a section of my large bowel on Christmas Eve and I was then discharged from hospital on New Year's Eve. 

"Signing up for Decembeard was my way of saying thanks for the work the charity does and to raise awareness of bowel cancer. 

"Everyone has a different story to tell, and it's therapeutic for the individual to put their thoughts out there for all to share. I also wanted to raise money to advance the wonderful research being done."
